French term

accueil familial d'enfants avec hébergement

French to English Social Sciences Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc. Child fostering (Switzerland)
The term is used multiple time in legal documents I am translating about the placement of a child with foster parents.
"Fostering children with accommodation" sounds slightly odd, but it occurs to me that there is also day fostering.
Or could this mean "permanent fostering"?

Please, no guesses or machine translations, answer if you are familiar with this term

Thanks for all answers and comments.

Host Families... ...are not necessarily licensed foster care providers, as you will find if you do the research.

foster care

Wordy in French, but the concept of "foster care" seems to include everything in the French source phrase/term.

I don't believe there is anything permanent about "foster care" in the US, unless the person who is receiving it has some kind of major disability. Even then, it's referred to as "foster care".

In fact, I now remember that here in the US, a foster child is released into the community as soon as they turn 18, to make their way in whatever way they can or want to, as long as they do not have a disability that prevents them from being independent.

Sometimes, disabled foster children, once they reach 18, are able to live independently in houses that are built in such a way that makes that possible for them.

Or rather, I should say "equipped in such a way".
