Take a walk around the Novgorod Kremlin. Legend has it that the formidable idol of Perun, an ancient god worshiped by the pageant Novgorod, stood there once and was thrown by Dobrynya into the Ilmen Lake.
Visit the ring of active monasteries and convents surrounding Novgorod and fully experience the feeling of walking in the holy land.

Did you redesign the tree to make it more newbie-friendly?
No. In fact, it was motivated to fulfill the needs of users who prefer to install applications from the original source packages instead of relying on the distribution. That is the main reason why each application gets its own directory: so you can install it from source there and then remove it with an "rm -rf". So, you see, GoboLinux was designed focusing the experienced user who doesn't like things to be automagical. Our scripts merely automate procedures, but they don't "make decisions", and whenever they have to, they ask first.

Нет. Вообще это было вызвано стремлением удовлетворить потребности тех пользователей, которые предпочитают инсталировать приложения из исходников, не полагаясь на дистрибутив. Это основная причина создания отдельного каталога для каждого приложения. Вы можете установить его с источника и тут же удалить с помощью «rm –rf». Поэтому, как вы видите, GoboLinux создавался с расчетом на опытного пользователя, который не любит, когда что-то срабатывает само собой, как по волшебству.
