I know the meaning, but I am wondering if there is a fixed expression in English to refer to this right. Only reply please if you know of a commonly-used expression. I could think of several alternative ways of saying it, but that's not what I am looking for.

A primeira expressão (right of answer) está clara e definida no Noronha. Apesar de eu mesma ter ressalvas quanto à fonte, nessas expressões de 'carteirinha' eu normalmente ponho fé :-)
Quanto a 'retificação', eu estou recaindo no sentido literal, que a meu ver tem igualmente sentido legal (também presente no Noronha)
