Discussion

coolbrowne Apr 23, 2010:
Unlikely to be "Entrust" (proper noun) The Portuguese text is indeed quite poor, and its utilization of presumptive English words even worse. However, as used in the phrase, "trust" and "untrust" are qualifiers, most likely, butchered renderings of "trusted" and "untrusted" respectively.
isarcat Apr 23, 2010:
Are you sure the text says "untrust" and not "entrust"? Entrust is a well known external provider of security certificate for trusted sites.. Without more context, I can't really comment, except that "untrust" sounds very suspicious...

untrusted external source is attempting to access the backup site for a trusted IT site

The Portuguese is very confusing. This is only a guess, but I would translate the sentence as: "The figure shows a configuration in which an untrusted external source is attempting to access the backup for a trusted IT site." Does this fit in with the diagram, or do you not have the diagrams for the job? It seems to me that you need to flag this or even ask for clarification of the Portuguese text.
Peer comment(s):

disagree coolbrowne : Yes the Portuguese is horrible. Nonetheless, it does not refer to some specific intrusion attempt (action). Rather, it attempts to describe some security configuration (spec).
