Norwegian term

bensling

Norwegian to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering wildlife fencing
Erection of wildlife fencing near roads to be constructed. Refers to 'bensling av netting'.
Is this some sort of reinforcement perhaps?
Advice appreciated.

Thanks. I tried, and this search just brought up nothing for me at all. I know it's a wire fence, but am trying to find out what the 'bensling' (this is how it's written in my document)' is, if that's a particular element of the fencing.
Dana Sackett Lössl Sep 18, 2006:
Hi Helen. Search kudoz for "bensletråd". This question has already been asked. It is some sort of coated wire fencing that is woven.

lacing/fastening

As I understand it, it is a technique used to bind woven wire fencing.

Here is the kudoz I was talking about

Here, in a nylon version, it is called "lacing cord"
