How do you understand από διμήνου here?
This is really a question about usage (because this doesn't seem to be the sort of thing you can look up in dictionaries or grammar books): can από διμήνου be understood in two different senses, "two months ago" and "for the past two months"?

Note from asker:
Thanks. Yes, given the way the sentence is put together, it's entirely logical to take it in the sense of "two months ago". It's just that my previous experience of expressions of this type (not that I've seen any lately) gave rise to some doubts. |

Discussion
από διμήνου - I can well imagine it sounding more emphatic than προ διμήνου.
In the context of your sentence - and reading between the lines, that is - "από διμήνου" suggests the emphasis I mentioned earlier.
I hope I haven't mixed things up.
Have a nice morning!
