Work contract
This is a work contract for a Canadian employed in New Caledonia.
"Article 12 Déménagement
La Société remboursera au Salarié le coût d'un ***déménagement maritime à hauteur de*** 12 m3 [i.e., cubiques, I presume] et d'un fret aérien de 300 kg maximum."
Struggling with an economical way of saying this; and not sure about the 12 cubic metres. I guess it refers to the size of a container.
TIA

: Though simply "sea freight". Your ghits are not convincing if you look at them. Removal is removal, sea freight is sea freight. The expression needs to be reworked. That said, this is perfectly comprehensible ...

shipping container measuring...
Just my suggestion for an economical way of saying it. It seems like you are pretty sure of what it means already. Note: This is not my area of expertise.

: Not a container. When I moved to France, my 2 trunks and a suitcase were strapped to pallet, presumably loaded into a shared container.

will refund removal costs to the extent of a 12m³ shipping container and 300 kg air freight
although I wonder whether it should be "or" 300 kg....

I admit this was badly phrased. Perhaps the following is an improvement:
..will refund removal costs for 12 m³ in a shipping container and 300 kg by air freight

Discussion
12m3 containers will only occasionally be used for specialised freight (which this isn't).
The fact that only 12m3 will be paid for implies that the removal will be part of a consolidated shipment ('groupage') or shared container.
