French term
flux de patients
French to English
Medical
Medical: Health Care
medico-economic analysis
Context:
The economic impact of a new medical device is being evaluated. The expectation is that the new treatment approach will reduce the length of hospitalization (thus costs) and allow the patient to return to work sooner.
Sentence I am translating:
L’impact sur le système de soins de la diminution de la durée du séjour hospitalier sera d’autant plus intéressante compte tenu du flux de patients.
"flux de patients" has me stumped

: The language isn't medical, it's management-speak, so no linguistic problem about it not looking medical.

whither has fle
: not necessarily..I think. Flow does vary. Cheers.

Does not deserve a disagree especially since this is the intention in this case, as I explained the higher the flow...

|
neutral |
Cetacea
: This might be the intention, but you can't know for sure, as patient flow (which is the correct term) can vary, hence the importance of patient flow management.

Chris Hall
: A bit over dramatic, when something a lot shorter (patient flow) works a whole lot better.
