Having done some research into the manufacture of dental prostheses, you can either have pre-fabricated posts or custom-made 'cast' posts. I think 'pre-fabricated' sounds a little more fluid than mass-produced here, at least for UK English

I have used the singular as the term requested was singular - obviously in the document it would be posts.
