an accounting of my assets

Just a thought; the tenor of the clause releases the executor from making a detailed inventory of the property, seems to be requiring only a general accounting

disclose the accounting

I think the suggested expression corresponds to original.
A variation is "DO DISCLOSE THE ESTATE".

Repair: TO DISCLOSE THE ESTATE
Example sentence:

establish a probate account

I added the word "probate" to the source phrase because of the context.

... to provide an adequate assessment of the composition of my estate

the other suggestions focussed primarily on the term "account" (inspired by "comptabilité" in French). another option is to grasp the intent of the declarant, which is to dispense his executor from having a full appraisal made as a simple inventory of assets seems sufficient to implement his testamentary wishes.
