French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
This is taken from a contract for logistics management services and flow management.

It's so late, I'm not sure if my brain is fried... ha... I just need to check if I understood and translated this correctly or if it really means something else. I guess I'm not sure if this is what they really mean.

The sentence:

My attempt:

No insurance policy for damage of property entrusted to others shall be taken out by Company X.

Is this what they really mean?

Context:

Article 8 - Assurances

Proposed translations (English)

To be sure, one would have to read the "présent accord" ... If you leave your TV set with me for a month, will MY insurance cover its loss in the event of a fire? OR If you leave your TV set with me for a month, will YOUR insurance cover its loss?

goods under bailment

You've got the picture, but you might like to consider using bailment in there.

Bailment describes a legal relationship where physical possession of personal property (chattels) is transferred from one person (the 'bailor') to another person (the 'bailee') who subsequently holds possession of the property. However, it is distinguished from a contract of sale or a gift of property, as it only involves the transfer of possession and not its ownership
