French term

cour de commutation

French to English Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology) IT system component
Hi, I am working on a user manual for an IT system and have come across this term in a list of components of the system. I do not have the whole text unfortunately, so it is difficult to give a lot of information regarding the context, but the surrounding text looks like this:

alimentation et temperature
Ethernet
Interface
CPU
Memoire
HDD
Charge en memoire et CPU
Cour de commutation
Serveur SSH
etc

Apologies for the lack of context, I'm just putting this out there on the offchance someone has come across it before. The term get numerous hits in Google but nothing that I can trace in English.

Thanks & best wishes

If we read this "cœur de commutation", we may have a useful indicator that could match the CPU and memory load

But this means there is a typo in source, so it has to be confirmed

Thank you very much for your contributions, I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. I fed back both responses to the client but unfortunately never got final confirmation of whether there was a typo in the original or not, so I have had to leave this one open.

agree Daryo : that would make sense, as part of a list containing various hardware components
