Sounds very officiating, at least.

Hi,
if it\'s for a CV I would put \"Executive Officer\". It\'s definitely not : general manager (directeur general).
Executive Official would be okay too. You could add some of the person\'s responsabilities if you\'ve been given some, or just say in charge of.....(whatever you think most appropriate in terms of the rest of the translation). You just need to adapt it a little. Hope this helps. It\'s so easy to get stuck on these things. Anna

PS. Official Representative would be okay too.
Let me know what you think.

Thank you. I think it is okay. The problem with the word \"dealer\" is you have to put \"car\" in front of it or it sounds like drugs. But car dealer doesn\'t seem important enough for a CV or similar.

Explanation

I have no clue as to whether there's an exact translation here - I've asked my husband for details, he's an automotive professional, before answering.

Here in France it's an authorized dealer (franchisee) - but not exactly like a "concessionnaire". It's just one step "under. The "Agent général" is managed by a "concessionnaire", while the "concessionnaire" only has the brand itself above him.

My husband says that things have changed recently about these status, but it won't be relevant here.
