Les socioécosystèmes où l’influence de l’homme est prépondérante dans la construction et le fonctionnement (systèmes anthropoconstruits) constituent des objets complexes dans leur construction et leurs interactions.
Is this simply "man-made systems" ?
Many thanks as always :)

Another suggestion.
In academic and other circles, the desire to eliminate sexism has looked for a replacement to "man-made". The term anthropogenic is often used in environmental texts. (Try googling it).
Alternatively, in this context, you might be able to use 'artificial'

: Which goes to show that environmentalists aren't half as smart as they think they are since the Greek means "man". Like claiming the universe cannot possibly have existed for all time but that God has.

Discussion
Actually, I think the Greek for male human is "andro", and "anthropo" means human, historically translated as "man", but since I am not a classical Greek translator, I could have this wrong.
