I gather that lame argon = argon filling. I'm just not sure what the WE stands for, i.e. can I leave it as it is or not! Thanks for any input.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

14 is of course the 14 mm width (thickness?) of the 'air-gap' — it is very common to express double-glazing in this sort of way 4 / 14 / 6, meaning "a 4 mm pane / a 14 mm air-gap / a 6 mm pane"
