neutral writeaway : don't agree with using google numbers to 'sell' an answer. let the refs speak for themselves. and fwiw, why put a disagree under a fellow answerer, saying that answer is right but yours is so much better? not a great habit to get into.

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

Quite unrelated to "hlommes nus".

Ultimate it will matter very little what you actually put since the last element in the series (sources de chaleur, des flammes nues et des sources d'ignition) will cover anything.

My interpretation is that:
- "sources de chaleur' refers, quite obviously, to heat sources, which could be, for example, a hot exhaust pipe,
- "flammes nues" refers to "flame phenomena", including sparks produced by a match or a lighter, say. I think the expression "naked light" comes from mining days, and has stuck with us. I'm not sure what exactly is meant by "naked/nues", but I have a strong suspicion the word is in fact meaningless in the meaning attributed to the expression these days - I for one wouldn't want someone wandering about in an explosive environment holding a hurricane lamp (i.e. a flame inside an open-topped glass cylinder), even if technically speaking the flame is not naked/open
- "sources d'ignition" refers specifically to things like live electrical circuits, motors, and mobile phones which could cause a spark. But of course both "sources de chaleur" and "flammes nues" would be "sources d'ignition" when the balloon goes up!
