My take is that they have guitars crafted for specific genres of music (folk, flameco, etc.).

neutral Sheila Wilson : Specialised, yes, but for something much more specific than genre: folk and flamenco guitars, are already different, certainly at a 'pro' level of playing. Here it would be for a particular tone/style within the genre
