English term

C/O relay, N/O relay, N/C relay

English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng car electronics
Can anyone explain/decipher these abbreviations?
There's no context at all - the comma separated phrases have been taken from an automotive diagnostics software (WDS) where entries are alphabetically arranged and generally have no relations to the next entry. In the Internet (in parts catalogue) I have found a phrase which seems to be related to the subject: "High sensitive, non polarized relay for telecom and various other applications, available with 1 n/o, 2 n/o or 1c/o contacts." So, apparently, "c/o relay" means a relay with c/o contacts, etc. But still I am at a loss for the meaning of these abbreviations.

Many thanks in advance for any help,

Alex

agree Tony M : Yes, though note that 'changeover' is very often written as a single word.
