An ungraded pass when a student has been ill or subject to special circumstances where, in the opinion of the examiners, the student would have been expected to pass the module. Students are permitted, if they wish, to be assessed in the module if it is at level 2 or above at the next available opportunity as it can contribute to degree classification.
