When a synonym is given, it is common practice in the translation to enter what the synonym stands for, i.e. DIS number would be "Discoteque search number"

: With your logic the name François could not be used in an English text because the French letter 'ç' is no letter in the English Language. What about København?? Not allowed or what? DISØ is a Danish acronym, not an English one.
