I'm translating a table for a car parts manufacturer. In the column of the name of the part, I find "clip for High Temperature Insulation hose", its advantage is to "fix the HTI hose strongly" and its application is "cross-carline". Any ideas? Thank you a lot! All searches seem useless

I think what it means is that the clip has a universal application, and can be used in any of the various models produced by the manufacturer. In other words, it is not specific to any one model.
