Agree with Nick προσήλθε
Nick Lingris May 27, 2015:
προσήλθε; My guess is it's a mistake and the verb should be "προσήλθε" = appeared. Here: joined the applicant in signing.

Proceeded to sign or came to sign or (just plain) signed ......

Since the full answer does not fit in the answer box, I am writing it here:

Proceeded to sign or came to sign or (just plain) signed the contract of 15.11.2002 together with the applicant company

Needless to say, do not include the words “just plain” in your translation.

An alternative interpretation of ‘προήλθε’ is ‘proceeded’. See:

https://translate.google.gr/?hl=en&tab=wT#auto/en/προερχομαι

If I understand it correctly, the translation of your passage would then become:

Subsequent to the above and in implementation of a term of the contract, the company ASTAKOS TERMINAL SA, proceeded to sign the contract of 15.11.2002 together with the applicant company under the name AKARPORT SA , on the basis of which ASTAKOS TERMINAL SA assigned to AKARPORT SA the development of the operation of the Port of NAVIPE.

or

Subsequent to the above and in implementation of a term of the contract, the company ASTAKOS TERMINAL SA, came to sign the contract of 15.11.2002 together with the applicant company

or

Subsequent to the above and in implementation of a term of the contract, the company ASTAKOS TERMINAL SA, signed the contract of 15.11.2002 together with the applicant company

Actually, the more I think about this, the more my confidence grows that this answer is probably correct. I therefore re-rate my confidence level to 'high'. Whatever happens though, you could probably get away with translating this either in my way or in Nick's way, because there is really very little difference between the two answers.

In the above ntranslation examples, there should not be a comma after 'ASTAKOS TERMINAL SA' in the first line.

If you were to want to translate this more literally, you could say, "proceeded with the signature of the contract of 15.11.2002 together with the applicant company...."
Note from asker:
Ok, that's very helpful, thank you. What threw me a bit was the comma after "αιτούσης". I thought it was something in its own right as opposed to an adjective (applicant) describing the company AKARPORT in the paragraph.
