Sto traducendo un manuale per la formazione commerciale di un noto marchio automobilistico.
Nella sezione relativa ai freni trovo "spike-applied low vacuum system".
Ecco un po' di contesto:
"Some vehicles are fitted with a spike-applied low vacuum system, mounted below the ABS/ESP unit.
By achieving an optimum vacuum in the brake system, the electric vacuum pump improves the system’s overall performance.
Low Vacuum System operation
The electrical vacuum pump switch activates the low vacuum pump at a pressure below 400 hPa and switches it off again at 500 hPa.
The pump insures that sufficient vacuum is available during drive off and that the brake booster doesn’t fail during long downhill drives."
