The word 'opzionate' refers to the licensee's 'diritto di opzione', which I understand is the licensee's right to renew the licence.
However, I am not sure how to translate 'registrazioni eventualmente opzionate' neatly in English, especially as the term appears repeatedly throughout the contract.
