Text d'origen - Anglès LOS ANGELES --Angela Magdaleno's husband wanted many children -- she just didn't know that they were going to have this many.
Magdaleno, who had triplets three years ago, gave birth to quadruplets on July 6 by Caesarean section in what doctors said was a rare occurrence of multiple births. Though she used fertility drugs with the triplets, she didn't with the quadruplets.
The latest additions -- two girls and two boys -- were doing well Wednesday, while their mother, resting at home, said: "I'm happy because they're healthy and so am I."
Still, Magdaleno, 40, worried she might be overwhelmed with the work and sometimes struggles with mixed emotions about the future. She has two older daughters, too.
"I don't know if I'm sad or happy," she said. "I'm happy but, I don't know. I don't know how to explain it."
Three years ago, Magdaleno gave birth to the triplets after undergoing in vitro fertilization. She said her husband wanted many children. After their birth, she thought she was done having babies.

Magdaleno, que tuvo trillizos hace tres años, dió a luz a cuatrillizos el pasado 6 de julio mediante cesárea, un caso, catalogado por los médicos como poco común, de parto múltiple. Aún habiendo utilizado fármacos para el tratamiento de la infertilidad, no hizo lo mismo en el caso de los cuatrillizos.
Las últimas adquisiciones --dos chicas y dos chicos-- evolucionaban bien el miércoles, mientras su madre, que descansaba en casa, dijo: "Estoy contenta pues ellos están sanos y yo también."
A pesar de todo ello, Magdaleno, que tiene 40 años de edad, teme verse abrumada por el trabajo y las penurias y afronta el futuro con una mezcla de sentimientos. A eso hay que añadir dos hijas mayores.
"No sé si estoy triste o feliz", dijo ella. "Soy feliz, pero no sé, no sé cómo explicarlo."
Hace tres años, Magdaleno dió a luz a trillizos después de someterse a una fertilización in vitro. Explicó que su marido quería muchos hijos. Después del nacimiento de los trillizos, pensó que lo de tener más hijos se había terminado.
