The interpreter will be tasked with live interpreting during teleconferences via Zoom between program representatives from American universities with their French counterparts (estimated 900 minutes total). During the 1.5 hour long sessions, there will be a presentation, followed by a Q&A session open to all participants (approx. 50 people in the call). All subject matter and reference material will be given to the interpreter ahead of time.
The client did not specify whether or not they wanted consecutive or simultaneous translation, but competency in both of these forms of interpreting is an advantage. The first of these seminars will likely begin in mid-February. The meetings will take place in the morning (US time/evening time in France).
