Biografia
I am a translator with over 15 years of experience in the translation sector. I am conducting a PhD research at the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI). I am writing to kindly request your support in disseminating a survey on how machine translation (including AI-powered systems) and post-editing are impacting the work of legal translators within the private sector. The aim of this study is to better understand how these technologies are influencing professional practice and legal translators’ perceptions, with a view to producing evidence of the current challenges and added value of human expertise in the field.
Participation is completely anonymous, the questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
