I am an experienced Translator and Interpreter who has also worked as Proofreader and Finaleyer in areas of Translation/Interpreting/Project Management/Editing and Proofreading in Spanish, English, German and Catalan.
I have worked as freelance Translator for groups like ACSI, Cerebro AG or UCanHaveIt but also as Interpreter (consecutive and simultaneous)at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Gierlich GmbH, APSER among others.
My working fields are technical/engineering, advertising, social/informative, art and literature and editing. Do not hesitate asking for some translation samples.
My target language is usually Spanish (either ES or LatAm). However, I am also capable to work on linguistic editing tasks for translations executed in the language-pairs German and English and non-linguistic editing for languages like English, German, Portuguese, Russian, Catalan and French.
I have a Translation and Interpreting Bachelor’s Degree from Pompeu Fabra University and a Master’s Degree in Conference Interpreting from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
I have also experience in language teaching (English, Spanish, Catalan and German) in small academies as well as in renowned companies like Kids&US. During my studies I have worked as an apprentice at relevant institutions, like the European Parliament or Rosa Sensat. Formerly I used to work in the customer service area for International Companies like Citibank, where I stayed for four and a half years. There I worked in a call center environment where incoming and outgoing calls where expected to be attended effectively and quick in four different languages (English, German, French and Dutch).
