My name is Neus Adrian and I've been an English into Spanish and Catalan freelance translator for more than 10 years now. Education and experience have led me to some of my areas of expertise:
-Legal translation: contracts and agreements, articles of association, powers of attorney, deeds, last wills and testaments and so on. -Literary translation: "The Test Trilogy" by Joelle Charbonneau (Oz Editorial, 2015 and 2016) and "Letters to Lovecraft" by Jesse Bullington (Edge Entertainment, awaiting publication), among other non-public works for private companies and organizations. -Education and training: study materials both for face-to-face and online trainings (Articulate platform); educational programmes and curriculums; instructions, testing materials and results for EU International Assessment Programmes, etc.
-Subtitling (spotting, captioning and translation): documentaries, corporate videos, training courses, etc. -Live subtitling: local television and concerts.
I also offer transcription and MT post-editing services on a regular basis and I use specific software for each project, such as SDL Trados Studio 2021, Subtitle Edit or The FTW Transcriber.
