Corpi… belli o sgraziati, ma solo scatole,
le ammiriamo soddisfatti, se felici,
le rinneghiamo insicuri nella sofferenza.
Siamo disegni casualmente abbozzati
dal capriccio di una forza sconosciuta,
ma prodiga di sogni e attimi d’infinito.
L’alba, il tramonto, le stelle… e oltre;
dal mare silenziose nascono le nuvole,
le montagne le fermano e condensano.
La natura confonde e inebria le menti,
ci regala sensazioni di libertà e amore,
i corpi appagati esprimono sensualità.
Si, giochiamo pure con le nostre scatole,
ma liberiamo l’energia che c’è dentro
restando fuori dai nostri effimeri corpi.

I have a Degree and a Master’s Degree in translation, a specialization in conference interpreting (English, Spanish, Italian, and I am currently studying French).
I've worked for 6 years as a language instructor, and now I work as translator, proofreader, Quality Manager, and Linguistic Supervisor; I also work as an interpreter (consecutive and liaison) and subtitler. I had the chance to translate in a variety of fields: medicine and life sciences, EU-related topics, technical and legal translations, marketing, IT, art and culture, music, documentaries; I've also localized web pages and softwares.
My rates range from 0.07 to 0.10 Eur/word for translation, and 25 Eur/hour for proofreading, but it usually depends on the type and length of texts. For ongoing projects I can offer lower rates.
I work fast, and I can guarantee high quality. I normally use Wordfast Pro to translate, but I can also use Déjà Vu, Star Transit, MemoQ, Subtitles Workshop and WebCATT.
