I don't much care for the speaking part, but I'd have liked to be able to translate from Swedish or Norwegian so I could make more money.
It would be 3 languages: Dutch, German and Arabic...

I've always loved listening to this language, it's a very sensory/sensual thing. I can read it, but I would like to be able to use it actively in writing and speaking. It would be my third native language.

I voted for Mandarin Chinese, as it seems to be on the up and up in the world today. I already have a degree in Russian, but I've never been a fluent speaker, although I can do a convincing accent. My second and third choices would be Hindi and Urdu.

I've always found German a beautiful language, though I must say that my impression was mostly informed by the German dubbed erotic movies I watched (or tried to watch) on RTL+ when I was very young in the early 90s... Those nasty movies from the 70s tend to have long lasting effects (I wish my parents had exercised more control), but sadly they didn't translate into my making the effort to learn the language...

From what I hear nowadays, many if not most people's first contact with actual spoken (well, sung) German is Rammstein, which, let's be honest, is not exactly the most flattering representation of the language of the poets and thinkers.
