Very clear and well-paced session
May 16, 2019
Thayenga delivers a very clear course, which fulfils all the goals set out right from the beginning. I enjoyed going through the common points and differentiating features of proofreading and editing, as well as the logics of pricing. It is always nice to hear someone sharing their experience and enthusiasm simply – and again, very clearly – about a potential source of confusion between translators and agencies.

I registered and paid for this course and could not attend on the scheduled day. But I cannot see the relevant video.
Could anyone send me the correct link?

proofreading vs editing

I have few takers (which is fine with me because many BFAs use non-native speakers of English as translators and use accomplished translators in an attempt to cadge an accomplished translation for the price of "proofing". This also gives me more time for translating which is what brings the money in). ▲ Collapse
