就是由选手猜别人讲得故事是真是假。猜对了若干个就能到到欧洲旅游。
估计全是假的，但旅游是真的。

十分欣赏那个“中国的阿黛尔”。这个节目与张绍刚的那个“毁你莫属”简直有天壤之别。

第二轮淘汰掉了。刘欢招到旗下的人都很不错，但每个导师最后只能留下四个，那些很优秀的选手只好互相“残杀”。那英他们三个手下的学员没有刘欢的强。想当初，投刘欢的学员应该有几个投到其他导师的门下，可能最后境遇好一些。

We have the same show over here, called "The Voice". Although the show has some pretty famous judges - Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and two other guys, I never watch it. There are too many "American Idol" copycat singing competitions these days. Simon Cowell's "The X Factor" is another one, which last season turned out to be somewhat of a flop. "Take Me Out" aired for about 7 or 8 episodes and was dropped. I watched a couple of episodes and then quit.
IMO, the show's format is just too regimented and staged for an American audience. Unscripted reality series like "Big Brother", "Survivor", "The Amazing Race" are a lot more popular.

Oh, and don't forget "Hell's Kitchen", "Kitchen Nightmares", "MasterChef", "Hotel Hell", etc. ...
Chef Gordon Ramsay proved to be a true genius parlaying his cooking talent into successful reality-TV entertainment. IMO, his main appeal is his straight-shooting style à la Judge Judith Sheindilin.

被淘汰确实很可惜。如她自己所说，她不大善于唱中文歌。不过，我想她已经拾回了自信，会在这条路上继续走下去。再说，她还会有机会。刘欢不是还让她参加明年的元旦演唱会吗？

For a true piece of Americana, this drama by the History Channel that reenacts the historical family feud between the Hatfieldis and the McCoys is worth taking a look. You'd get a kick out of the Appalachian English too.

Tolbert McCoy was played by an Australian-British actor Sebastian Reid. I was really impressed with the fake hillbilly accent he had to put on for the role. 
Incidentally, another Brit I admire who can assume a convincing American accent (not Southern of course) is Kate Winslet. From my observation, it is not always a feat easily accomplished by the majority of British and Australian actors in Hollywood movies.
