This will depend on the context, I guess, but my immediate reaction is to go back to MBA days and pull out "competitive advantage," which can be sub-classified into a "cost advantage" (it's cheaper) and a "differentiation advantage" (it stands out).

: In this sentence, I would use Daisuke's answer. Not 100% sure, but if we are talking about 競争力の要因, doesn't it include "disadvantage" as well as advantage?

: as a non-native English speaker, i really would not assume "competitiveness" is the only answer, however, you would put your translation that way in a general commercial context. i regard it as a simpler answer, not deviating from the origial meaning. -
