I always try to write correctly, but I know little mistakes slip in here and there. I make more mistakes in my source language, which I use with my clients, but my written French is better than probably 80% of French people's, and if I do make a silly mistake, well, it's not my native language, so it's kind of a seal of authenticity. Several clients have asked me to translate stuff into French, which I take as a compliment even if I really don't want to do it.

Being tired, can happen to anyone, although I wouldn't reply to a client if I were too tired to check my spelling. I remember my boss at the agency calling a translator to berate them for leaving several mistakes, it was obvious that they hadn't bothered to run a spell check. The translator said that as an intellectual, he was above such things.

In my mind, grammar is a question of clear communication, manners AND professionalism. Obviously, as humans, professionals can make occasional mistakes, but being tired is not a justifiable excuse for “a message so full of errors”.
