Even as an experienced DVX userand amateur programmer, my first Trados encounter a few years ago was harrowing and I was appalled at the lack of readily available guidance for newbies on the net A simple fact such as "it works like an MS Word plugin" would have helped even. Once I got started, there were many crashes and wrong turns. Stupid me.
I paid 990 EUR - 10% for DVX about 5 years ago, and all the upgrades since then were free. No regrets.
