Importing TM units slow

I'm creating a new Translation Memory using my old translation files (.docx format). At the moment the TM contains around 1,300 units.
After completing the alignment of all units and saving this alignment file, I upload the file to the TM, but the uploading lasts too much - like more than 10 minutes for a 80-unit file - and so I have to cancel the operation.
