I've just received a job offer from this scammer and thanks God Almighty I decided to check the URL on Translatorscafe and Proz.com and found this thread and deleted the job offer right away.

I've just been fooled by them.
The first email with project request I received on 18th December seemed genuine in how it was written, for the files attached too, and from the replies to my questions they looked like they were in the field... but I should have immediately seen the sender address with the typo "trnslate" as highly suspicious...
Anyway, luckily I have lost 34 Eur only.

I received a second email on 25th December with a stranger project request into English (and pdf legal texts attached).
Next time I will check better on Google before.

Their address (Utica, NY) and their mission (humanitarian) check out with their website.
I would ask them how much they are willing to pay. Since this is a "humanitarian" agency", not much, I would venture.
These multi-year, million-word projects never pan out.
