disagree Kim Metzger : Sp. "clause", "numbered" but spelling is the least of your problems. In legal English we wouldn't use "numbered". No. stands for "number." It's also not a "clause", it's an article. http://www.justice.gov.tr/basiclaws/Criminal_Code.pdf

Whenever ity comes to Laws in any document, Clause is to be used.
disagree Tim Drayton : The accepted convention is to use 'article' for 'madde' when translating Turkish statutes; 'clause' is a better alternative when translating contracts.
