日本語 term

導子

日本語 から 英語 技術/工学 エレクトロニクス/電子工学 medical device
I found "electrode" for this, but the problem is that it contains several 電極 (i.e. electrodes). Is there a way to distinguish 導子 from 電極 in English?

While putting my-your score at risk, (thankx for the win!) anyway your "cluster" is not so good because of any possible confusion with "chronic cluster headache" and it is also used less frequently compared to the "array"
Example sentence:

The MED64 is a user-friendly multi-electrode array (MEA) system for stimulation and recording of field potentials

catheter

導子 means 1) electrode, 2) electrical entry, 3) catheter (in cadiac catheterization, 心導子). You should consider context.

I do not fully understand the context, but if you are looking for a replacing word for electrode, how about 'lead'?

inductor

Could it be inductor, as in inductor electrodes? Don't know if that fits the context..

Electrode

the patient is attached to the return electrode, a relatively large metal plate or a flexible metalized plastic pad which is connected to the return electrode of the AC source. The surgeon uses a pointed electrode to make contact with the tissue. The electric current flows from the active electrode, through the body to the return electrode, and then back to the electrosurgical generator.
