This is part of my previous question, the full phrase is Psychologischer Psychotherapeut (Zul. D/A). I am guessing Zul. stands for Zulassung, license or authorization, but what does D/A stand for?

w/ Harald: I had the same idea, butt not really specialised in this field I was too "chicken" to suggest it. Zulassung/Deutschland/ Austria (but there's a problem: in German it should read österreich , not Austria, that's why I was hesitant

...please see the reference: it seems as if "D" stands for "docent/lecturer" and "A" for "LehranalytikerIn/-therapeutIn" (teaching analyst/therapist)...

Zul. should be "certification"...

I originally thought as you and Ingeborg did, certified in Ger. and Austria, and then I too wondered why it said A rather than O Umlaut. These abbreviations can be dreadful!
