I'd like to remind everybody of Kudoz rule 3.4:
3.4 - Commenting to an asker regarding his/her decision to post a certain question, to grade a certain way, or to make a certain glossary entry, is strictly forbidden. So, Jim, no need for the apologies.
Ingo Dierkschnieder Feb 11, 2005:
You'll find even more hits when you search for IIIG and IIP and not for IIIG/IIP. Anyway, no problem, you are forgiven.

Google Yes, I agree....... I did Google and got one German, and 6 Italian or Spanish hits (did it again to make sure, got the same results). I searched a number of dictionaries, and the ProZ glossary as well and found nothing. Sorry, guys.... I only came here after not finding it elsewhere....honestly.

Ingo Dierkschnieder Feb 11, 2005:
Andrew is right just google for it and you'll find it on English, German, Spanish, Russian and so on websites. Remember when using KudoZ: 1. google for the word, 2. search the ProZ glossary and only if you still have no answer, 3. ask the ProZ pros;-)

Apologies I probably should have made clear that I assumed that this was probably something internationa, but as I wasn't familiar with it, I made the post just to be sure.

G3, P2

Hi JIm,

In OB/GYN speak, IIIG/IIP is G3, P2:

G3: gestations= 3
P2: partum= 2

So the 28 y/o woman has had 2 deliveries and is pregnant with her 3rd baby. She didn't have (documented) miscarriages, but the number of children born to her can't increase with the third pregnancy (which is ectopic).

Good luck,

Elena

Spontaneous uterine rupture is a rare, but serious complication of placenta percreta. This case report is about a spontaneous uterine rupture at an unusual site due to placenta percreta in a 21-week twin pregnancy with previous cesarean section. A 30-year-old, **G3, P2** woman was referred to our unit in the 21st week of a twin pregnancy with acute abdomen.
