Hi All:
This one is not in online glossaries in the context I need.
This is about fiber lamination processes & methods in the manufacturing of motorcycle parts. (PS: for a UK readership)
E.g.:
"Preßverfahren mittels Gegenstempel:
Das Gewebe wird in der Form mittels eines Gegenstempels, der in der Größe der Form entspricht minus der beabsichtigten Wandstärke des Bauteils zusätzlich verpreßt."

My translation thus far:
"Compression moulding using a compression // counter stamp // die {Gegenstempel}:

The material is pressed into the mould using a compression stamp // die // compression die {Gegenstempel}, which closely fits the mould minus the component’s intended wall thickness."

Have I come close to the mark? Or is there a technical term for this that I just haven't found yet?
