German term

Tippgemeinschaft

German to English Other Gaming/Video-games/E-sports online lottery
I admit I know nothing about gambling and/or football/soccer. This one sentence in a longer marketing text...

Context:
Fußball-Leidenschaft in Ansprache und Design für die Tipp-Plattform Uns11 von ratioform – für firmeninterne Tippgemeinschaften. (for reference: http://www.uns11.ratioform.de/)

Please also let me know what the "internal" has to do with it. Form lottery teams... on the job?

thanks much,
sylvie

Betting pool

The "intern" part just means that it's a betting pool among people in a particular company - not outside of it.

syndicate (at the office)

This is what a friend of mine calls their "Tippgemeinschaft". They each pay in a certain amount each week and share the winnings, if any.

pools syndicate

(im Lotto) lottery syndicate; (im Fußballtoto) pools syndicate --that's what Collins says.
Well, and for 'intern' it's within the company/people from the company/intercompany
