: I agree with your doubled suggestion, but I also think "participants" would be ambiguous enough to cover both, in the context given. And that's when a translator can really pat themself on the back - finding a translation as ambiguous as the original :-)

Thanks for your thoughts. I am sure Damian´s reply is absolutely appropriate in this context. However, I wonder why the term "Akteure" was used in the first place. Participants really are "Teilnehmer" which is not what the source text says. Thanks again.
