two-group
I know, it seems to be "chic" today to use arm instead of (treatment or study) group, but I continue to emphasize this "altmodisch deutsche" way of saying it:
Two refs:
http://www.imagopaque.com/safty/safety_ref.shtml
(s. no. 8 of the references)
http://www.cochrane-net.org/openlearning/HTML/modA1-3.htm
(--> two-group trial)
There are thousands similar refs, just compare the two versions here:
http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=two-group trial&ie=UTF-8...
(However, I to not mean that two-arm trial is wrong, it is not, of course.)

Comment: ""Two-group" makes sense. Good explanation."
