Does anybody know the translation of this to Portuguese? There's not much context. It's the caption of a picture: "Enfants non loin d'une épicerie-burette" (Paris 1954-1955).

Penso que se trata daquelas mercearias de antigamente que também vendiam líquidos a granel (azeite, petróleo, etc.) medidos com uma bureta. Aqui, na minha localidade, havia muitas, mas eram apenas designadas por "mercearia".
