English term

Facing

English to Slovenian Other Textiles / Clothing / Fashion Tailoring / clothing making
This is the description of what a "facing" is, translated from French:

http://www.coupecouture.fr/2007/03/parement_ou_parementure.h...

A facing is a piece of fabric that is sewn along the edge of a garment and folded backwards (to be invisible) or upwards (to be decorative).
It has exactly the same shape as the piece to be edged and therefore fits perfectly around the edge.
It can be made from the same fabric as the garment or from lining (if the fabric is too thick).

French: parementure
German: Besätz

obroba

Not entirely sure about this one, but judging from the description and the German term it seems appropriate.

The definition in "Fran" of "obroba: trak, pas blaga za vidno obrobljanje ali okras obleke, oblačila: plašč ima krzneno obrobo; ovratnik z belo obrobo; kvačkana, svilena obroba"
