I live in Whiteley, so it's not far for me to travel. But it seems a shame to go ahead if there are so few of us. Perhaps we could schedule meeting up for a later date to improve numbers?

I'm hoping more people will want to join us and then we can pick a date and even a venue to suit us all. It would be very interesting to hear what the course is like at uni these days too.

Hi, Nikki. Am I too late to join this Powwow? I'm an Applied Languages student at the University of Portsmouth studying French and Spanish. I have been volunteering as a translator and would like to work as a translator when I graduate so would love to meet some established translators, to hear about their experiences.

Fed up with not being able to attend any Christmas work events because you're freelance? I am. Would be great to meet up with local colleagues. The new Harvester restaurant in Whiteley (junction 9 off M27) is offering a deal, £11.99 for two courses or £14.99 for three. This ideally needs to be booked before 25 October and the restaurant requires a non-refundable deposit of £5 per person.
