If anybody is using a platform called People Per Hour, please be aware of somebody who is offering freelancers jobs on behalf of Amero. We are not on this platform and are not working with any intermediaries who are. We believe this is either an overpayment scam or an attempt at obtaining freelancer's CVs and personal information. If anybody is using a platform called People Per Hour, please be aware of somebody who is offering freelancers jobs on behalf of Amero. We are not on this platform and are not working with any intermediaries who are. We believe this is either an overpayment scam or an attempt at obtaining freelancer's CVs and personal information. We strongly caution you to do your due diligence before accepting any translation projects from anybody saying that you would be working with us, but through them, or requesting personal information to pay you "wages (advance payment)." Another thing they will tell you is that Canadian taxes will be deducted from these "wages." So far the scammer has identified himself with the same name, but in compliance with ProZ rules, we cannot share that information with you as they may be using an innocent person's name, just as they are using our company's name.
